The palace was built during the reign of Maharao Shri Khengarji III, the Maharao of Kutch, as a summer resort for the use of his son & heir to the kingdom, the Yuvraj Shri Vijayaraji and is therefore, named after him as Vijaya Vilas Palace. The construction of palace started in year in 1920 and was completed in year 1929. The central high dome on the pillars, the Bengal domes on the sides, the windows with colored glass, carved stone 'jalis', domed bastions at the corners, extended porch and other exquisitely stone-carved elements, make the palace worth visiting.

Every year in the winter months, a Tent City is created near Dhordo village called Rann Utsav. During Kutch Festival thousands of people gathers to witness Rann of Kutch festival or Kutch Rann Utsav to see Kutch attractions or sightseeing places of Kutch. Rann Utsav means a happening Tent city with more than 300+ Tents along with attached washrooms, western commodes, AC and Heaters, luxury beds and fully functional dining area, meditation room, club, spa, outdoor activity zone, kids zone and host of other state-of- the-art facilities that would make you wonder whether you are at Tent city or metropolis? Kalo Dungar or Black Hill is the highest point in Kutch, Gujarat, India, at 462 m. It is located at 97 km from District headquarters of Bhuj and 25 km from nearest town Khavda. This is probably the only place in Kutch from where a panoramic view of the Great Rann of Kutch is possible. The Kalo Dungar is also famous for a 400-year-old Dattatreya temple. Legend says that when Dattatreya walked on the earth, he stopped at the Black Hills and found a band of starving jackals. Being a god, he offered them his body to eat and as they ate, his body continually regenerated itself.

Dholavira is an archaeological site at Khadirbet in Bhachau Taluka of Kutch District, in the state of Gujarat in western India, which has taken its name from a modern-day village 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) south of it. Also known locally as Kotada Timba, the site contains ruins of an ancient Indus Valley Civilization/Harappan city. Dholavira’s location is on the Tropic of Cancer. It is one of the five largest Harappan sites and most prominent archaeological sites in India belonging to the Indus Valley Civilization. It is also considered as having been the grandest of cities of its time

Apart from these, long village walks where you can mingle with the locals with a drink in hand, can be arranged by us.
